The Coolock Community College logo has three Oak Leaves at the centre. These Oak Leaves symbolise longevity, strength, stability, endurance, power, justice and honesty. Three is the number of harmony, wisdom and understanding. It was also the number of time – past, present, future; birth, life, death; beginning, middle, and end. This is what they as a school community stand for and they work with each student to ensure they experience each of these areas.

As a school, Coolock Community College provides the foundations for students to reach their full academic potential through a positive and supportive learning environment. They are a respectful and caring community where everyone is tolerant of the beliefs and opinions of other people and where equality and diversity are celebrated. We were delighted to partner with AWS InCommunities as we delivered Urban Forests through the 2023/24 planting season.

AWS were the Lead Sponsor for this wonderful forest developed in Coolock Community College, bringing biodiversity and nature into the heart of this wonderful school in the Dublin 17 community. Their sponsorship meant that this forest was provided at no cost to the school, keeping the school’s funds where they’re most needed.
